 Italian workmanship - excellent valueApr 18, 2010
This shoehorn will crack at the base if you force it. But so would other and similar shoehorns that are three times as expensive. This is an excellent product for the value. (so do not let your kids to play with it - this product is only for serious adults and gentlemen).

It was an instant hit when opened on Christmas morning. The perfect, beautiful shoe horn my family would be pleased to hang on the hall closet door. Then my niece demonstrated how to use it (for the kids) by trying on her new slippers. She did not force it or do anything extraordinary, but it immediately cracked. Split across the lovely amber-colored horn. Kaput. It was a great disappointment all around.
