 Too Short - Need a Longer Shoe HornJul 11, 2010
I bought this because it was cheap and thought it would do the trick. I like to keep shoe horns both at work and at home. I have trouble putting shoes on at times so when I use this, I have to sit down because I have trouble reaching my feet. Would not advise people with mobility issues to purchase this. You need to be flexible to handle this short stick!

Not sure if I rate the shoe horn 2 stars or the company. I take responsibility for not checking if this was Amazon Prime but I ordered the shoe horn for $6.95. When it comes there are $7.00 shipping charges. Stupid I know, I could have purchased a $13 product and used Amazon Prime. As you can tell I think I am more upset with myself. So on to the shore horn. For the price it is not made that well.

I decided to buy it, because the plastic shoe horns I used to have always break in a short period of use. This shoe horn is made of chrome plated steel, which I expect will last a few years. The wood handle makes it easy to use. I think it is a pretty good deal, although the shipping cost was more than the price of the item, which I think it's not fare.

HAVING TWO BAD KNEES, PUTTING ON SHOES HAS BECOME QUITE A CHORE. THIS LITTLE GEM HAS MADE MY LIFE A LITTLE SIMPLIER. IT REALLY HELPS.

I have bad knees and cannot easily bend over to put my right shoe on, so I ordered this item to assist me. I tried it several times before I gave up on it. The shoe horn part is too narrow and too sharp. I had to be careful not to cut my heel each time. So, I cannot recommend this item to anyone else and definitely not buy another one of this type.
